Mesotherapy Applications – PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)

3/16/2026 Authors: Dr. Levent Ünal

PRP applications are among the most powerful and safest approaches of regenerative medicine in the field of medical aesthetics. The use of platelet-rich plasma obtained from the patient’s own blood makes PRP both a biocompatible and low-risk treatment option. This application is effectively used in many areas, including skin rejuvenation, hair loss, and the improvement of tissue quality.

The primary aim of PRP applications is to stimulate cellular regeneration, increase collagen production, and support tissue repair through the growth factors contained within platelets. However, the effectiveness of PRP is directly related to proper patient selection, an appropriate preparation protocol, and correct application techniques. Non-standard applications may significantly reduce treatment success.

Within the PRP training program, platelet biology, centrifugation protocols, quality criteria of the obtained product, and injection techniques according to different treatment areas are discussed in detail. Participants learn how PRP can be combined with mesotherapy, laser treatments, and other regenerative therapies through clinical examples.

During the training process, session intervals, evaluation of treatment response, and the patient information process are also emphasized. The aim is to provide a clinical perspective that can apply PRP not merely as a popular procedure, but as a scientifically based treatment method that offers controlled and sustainable results.
