Genital Aesthetic Applications – Regenerative & Biostimulatory Approaches – Vaginal Tightening with RF (Radiofrequency)
Vaginal tightening with Radiofrequency (RF) is an energy-based procedure that aims to stimulate collagen contraction and new collagen synthesis through the use of controlled thermal energy. Through its thermal effect, connective tissue tightens and an increase in tissue elasticity may be achieved.
The primary aim of RF application is to support tissue tone without resorting to invasive surgery. It may be considered a supportive option in patients with mild laxity, postpartum tissue changes, and loss of elasticity. However, it may not be sufficient as a standalone treatment in cases of advanced anatomical deformities.
During the training process, energy–tissue interaction, safe temperature ranges, characteristics of mucosal structures, and device parameters are discussed in detail. Particular emphasis is placed on complications such as burn risk, mucosal sensitivity, and temporary edema.
The aim is to provide the technical competence necessary to perform RF applications not merely with the promise of tightening, but through controlled energy management and appropriate patient selection.
