Genital Aesthetic Applications – Functional Aesthetics – Support Protocols for Mild Stress Urinary Incontinence

3/16/2026 Authors: Dr. Levent Ünal

Mild stress urinary incontinence is characterized by urine leakage during coughing, sneezing, or physical exertion and is most commonly associated with weakness of pelvic floor support. Evaluation of this condition requires urogynecological examination and accurate classification. Medical aesthetic applications may play only a supportive role in mild cases.

Regenerative injections or energy-based systems may provide improvement in symptoms by increasing mucosal thickness and supporting connective tissue integrity. However, surgical or urological approaches are the primary treatment options in moderate and severe cases of incontinence. Therefore, patient selection is of critical importance.

During the training process, pelvic floor anatomy, the role of supporting tissues, and protocols that may be applied in mild cases are discussed in detail. Participants learn to distinguish the limitations of aesthetic applications and situations that require a multidisciplinary approach.

The aim is to develop a supportive and selective approach rather than presenting aesthetic applications as a sole solution for functional problems such as incontinence.
