T.E.D Ankara Koleji'nden 1987, Ankara Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi'nden 1994 yılında mezun olmuştur.  Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Anatomi Anabilim Dalı'nda doktora eğitimini tamamlayarak 1999 yılında bilim doktoru ünvanını,2004 yılında Anatomi Doçenti ünvanını, 2010 yılında Profesör ünvanını almıştır.  

Mesleki Deneyim

30 yıllık akademisyenlik , günümüzde aktif olarak devam eden ve 5 yıldan beri Hacettepe Üniversitesi Geleneksel ve Tamamlayıcı Tıp Merkez Müdürlüğü, 8 yıldan beri Hacettepe Hastaneleri Akupunktur ve Mezoterapi Ünitesi Müdürlüğü, 8 yıldan beri Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Anatomi Anabilim Dalı Başkanlığı, 6 yıldan beri Türk Eğitim Derneği Üniversitesi Mütevelli Heyet Üyeliği görevleri, ve 2021- 2024 yılları arasında Hacettepe Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Dekanlığı görevini yerine getirmiştir.
