Mesotherapy Applications – Hand Mesotherapy

3/16/2026 Authors: Dr. Levent Ünal

Hand mesotherapy is a skin-rejuvenating treatment designed for the dorsum of the hands, one of the areas where signs of aging appear earliest and become most noticeable. Due to constant exposure to sunlight, environmental factors, and daily use, the hands age as rapidly as the face. Skin thinning, loss of elasticity, and increased visibility of veins are among the most common aesthetic concerns affecting this region.

The primary objective of hand mesotherapy is to improve skin quality, restore hydration balance, and promote a healthier, fuller appearance of the hands. Prior to treatment, factors such as skin thickness, pigmentation status, and the patient’s lifestyle habits should be carefully evaluated. Rather than focusing on volumization, hand mesotherapy is primarily intended to support and improve the quality of the skin itself.

Within the Hand Mesotherapy Training program, participants gain detailed knowledge of hand anatomy, superficial vascular structures, and safe injection techniques. The course provides a systematic understanding of mesotherapy formulations suitable for the hand region, appropriate injection depths, and treatment session planning. In addition, participants learn how hand mesotherapy can be integrated with dermal fillers, platelet-rich plasma (PRP), and other skin rejuvenation procedures through practical clinical examples.

Particular emphasis is placed on recognizing and preventing treatment-related issues such as edema, irregular product distribution, and temporary sensitivity that may occur following overly aggressive applications. The objective is to develop a clinical approach that enables practitioners to achieve controlled, natural-looking, and long-lasting results in hand rejuvenation treatments.

When properly planned and performed using appropriate techniques, hand mesotherapy can significantly improve the appearance of aging hands and contribute to a more harmonious and comprehensive aesthetic outcome that complements overall facial rejuvenation.
